The grievance raised in the petitions is that the respondents are forcing the petitioners to vacate the shops without inviting the fresh tenders. The Court on 31.01.2025 directed that the respondents shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioners however permitted the respondents to initiate the fresh process of tender.

In view thereof, there does not seem to be any impediment for the respondents to issue the fresh tender and to allot the shops in question to the successful bidders. The petitioners’ undertakings are taken on record who contends that if in fresh tender they are not allotted the shops in question, they shall vacate the same within a period of ten days from the date of intimation. The petitioners shall be bound by the same. If they fail to adhere to the said undertakings, the respondent thereafter shall take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.

With these observations, the petitions stand disposed of. Pending applications shall also stand disposed of.
