- By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking following
prayers:
“a) Issue a Writ of Certiorari, or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction in the nature thereof, quashing the impugned nomination/shortlist report dated 06.07.2026 forwarded by Respondent No. 2 (Indian Olympic Association) for participation in the forthcoming 20th Asian Games (Aichi- Nagoya 2026) in respect of the Men’s Under-58 kg Taekwondo (Kyorugi) event qua Respondent No. 5 who has been illegally and arbitrarily nominated over the Petitioner by violating the circular dated: 24/09/2025 & 05/03/2025 issued by Respondent No.1 for selection of athletes for Asian Games, 2026; and/or
