Delhi High Court, order dated 26.05.2025 by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Tejas Karia in RSA 316/2016 (Manmohan Singh (since deceased) thr his legal heirs & Ors., appellants v. S Harbans Singh (since deceased) thr his legal heirs & Ors., respondents). Acting on CM APPL. 32933/2025 filed under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 seeking an early hearing, counsel for the Respondent stated that a settlement agreement dated 20.05.2025 had been executed between the parties (Annexure R-1), and counsel for all parties confirmed before the Court that the parties had settled their disputes in terms of that agreement. Counsel for the Appellant handed over three demand drafts acknowledged by counsel for the Respondent: DD No. 980790 dated 30.04.2025 for ₹4,00,000/- and DD No. 061297 dated 01.05.2025 for ₹4,00,000/-, both in favour of Harinder Singh, and DD No. 061298 dated 01.05.2025 for ₹8,00,000/- in favour of Guljeet Singh Sahni. The Court accordingly disposed of the present second appeal in terms of the settlement, directed all parties to abide by its terms, and cancelled the dates already fixed on 07.07.2025 before the Court and 30.07.2025 before the Joint Registrar.
