By way of the present petition filed under Section 29(A)(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioners seek extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has already expired on 31.12.2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, accepts notice and submits that respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition

Learned counsels for the parties jointly submit that the next date before the Ld. Arbitrator is 31.03.2025 and arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments and pray that the mandate be extended for a period
