Appellant has filed an appeal for reduction of the award dated 01.03.2014 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs. 28,75,100/- along with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of the DAR. The concerned tribunal has already attached the award and in terms of order dated 30.09.2014 passed by this Hon’ble High Court, direction was issued to tribunal to release 70% of the attached amount.

We have interacted with the learned Counsel/parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions has agreed to withdraw the appeal, and learned counsel for the respondents has no objection.

In view of the above settlement, it is directed that balance awarded amount lying deposited before the Tribunal with interest, if
