The present appeal has been filed by the Appellant – Pawan under Section 374 of the Cr.P.C., 1973 against the judgment and order on sentence dated 02^nd March, 2007 and 08^th March, 2007, respectively, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, in Session Case bearing No. 83/2006 arising out of FIR No. 342/2004 registered under Sections 376/506 IPC at PS-Farsh Bazar.

The Appellant was convicted under Section 376 and 506 IPC.

It is submitted that the Appellant was released from the jail on 9^th August, 2010 after completing the sentence awarded to him.

The Appellant was unable to contact via Video Conference (VC), but has established contact through the IO’s WhatsApp (VC). He states that he does not wish to press this appeal on the ground that it has become infructuous, as he has already served his sentence.
