The present appeal has been filed by the Appellant – Vinod under Section 374(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, assailing the Judgment of conviction dated 29^th April 2006 and the order on sentence dated 02^nd May, 2006, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, in Sessions Case bearing No. 28/2006 arising out of FIR bearing No. 825/2005 registered under Sections 363/366/366-A/376 IPC at Police Station Gokalpuri.

The Appellant was convicted for offence punishable under Section 376 IPC.

The Trial Court Record as well as the Nominal Roll of the Appellant has been perused.

It is stated that the Appellant was released from jail on 22^nd December, 2009 after completing the sentence awarded to him.
