The limited prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction for expeditious disposal of the Criminal Revision Petition No. 492/2022 filed by the petitioners.

Mr.Krishan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the revision petition bearing Crl.Rev.P. No. 492/2022 preferred by the petitioners against the order of dismissal of their application under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. pending disposal before the learned Sessions Court since the year 2020 but could not be disposed of despite reserving it for orders twice. He states that the written arguments have already been filed in

the revision petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is aged about 81 years and suffering from third stage cancer.

Considering the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of with the directions to the learned Sessions Court to make best possible endeavour to dispose of Crl.Rev.P. No. 492/2022 expeditiously. No unnecessary adjournments be granted. Learned counsel for the parties are also requested to co-operate with the learned Sessions Court in expeditious disposal of the revision petition.
