The present petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 read with Section 151 of the CPC seeks the following prayers: -

“i. Initiate the contempt and similar proceedings against the Respondent contemners and punish the guilty officers for not honouring and abiding by the order of this Hon’ble High Court dated 10.04.2023 in WP (C) No. 4147/2023; and ii. Pass any further order/ direction, as this Hon’ble court may deem fit considering the facts and circumstances of the present case and in the interest of justice.”

The grievance in the present petition pertains to the non-compliance of the directions passed in W.P.(C) 4147/2023 on 10.04.2023, whereby the respondent was directed to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioners within two weeks from the date of the order.
