This is a petition filed under Section 36 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking enforcement of the Award dated 04.12.2023 wherein the claims of the decree holder have been allowed to the tune of Rs. 6,14,95,107/- along with interest.

Admittedly, a sum of Rs. 1,91,61,512/- is not disputed by the judgment debtor and the same has been ordered to be paid to the decree holder within a period of 4 weeks from today in O.M.P. (COMM) 190/2024.

The balance awarded amount with up-to-date interest has been directed to be deposited with the Registrar General, Delhi High Court within a period of 12 weeks from today in O.M.P. (COMM) 190/2024.

same must be released to the decree holder.

On depositing the amount, the decree holder is entitled to withdraw the same subject to furnishing security to the satisfaction of the Registrar General, Delhi High Court.

As the entire amount as awarded to the decree holder has been ordered to be paid / released to the decree holder, the execution petition is disposed of.

In case the amounts are not deposited / released to the decree holder, the decree holder will be entitled to revive the execution petition.
