- By the order dated 03.07.2024, this Court had noted that the applicant requires some extra medical attention than what is being provided in Tihar Jail. This Court considered the reports placed on record and directed that the applicant be taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( ‘AIIMS’ ). In case, AIIMS is not in a position to provide treatment to the applicant, the Jail Superintendent was given liberty to get the applicant admitted in any other specialized hospital, including a private hospital.

- It is pointed out that the AIIMS has refused to admit the applicant.
