After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the respondents by way of a comprehensive representation/ representations seeking benefits under the Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) Scheme, in accordance with the decision of the Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.2016/2020 titled “ Union of India & Ors. vs. M.V. Mohanan Nair ”.

In the light of the aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for. It is further directed that in case,
