This writ petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner inter alia seeking the benefits of the gratuity and pay revisions under the 5^th , 6^th and 7^th CPC.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submits that the Respondent School has taken a stand in the counter-affidavit that the amounts have been paid and therefore the dispute that remains now is solely with respect to the calculations. While the Petitioner contends that the entire amount due has not been paid, the School contends otherwise.

On instructions, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Directorate of Education (DOE) to work out the calculations of the amounts due to the Petitioner so that the matter is resolved.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Director of Education to appoint a Senior Officer in the Directorate to calculate the amounts allegedly due to the Petitioner after giving a personal hearing to both the parties and looking into their respective calculations, for which intimation will be given to the parties with respect to the time, date and venue. The report so prepared shall be furnished to both the parties. Entire exercise shall be completed within 8 weeks from today.

Needless to state in case of any surviving grievance, Petitioner may take recourse to legal remedies.

Petition stands disposed of.
