Present writ petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking a limited direction to Respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 10.11.2022 filed by the Petitioner within a time bound period wherein he seeks a restraint against the concerned Revenue Officials from issuing No Objection Certificate (‘NOC’) in favour of third parties under the Delhi Lands (Restriction on Transfer) Act, 1972 qua land forming part of several Khasra Numbers mentioned in the representation, situated within Village Quadipur (Kadipur), Delhi.

Mr. Anupam Srivastava, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondents No. 1 to 5, on instructions from Mr. Gurav Nilesh Nishikant, ADM, Alipur, states that representation dated 10.11.2022 pending before the concerned Competent Authority shall be decided within six weeks from today.

Writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Competent Authority of Respondents No.1 to 5 to decide the representation dated 10.11.2022 within a period of six weeks from today, as assured. A reasoned and speaking order will be passed by the Competent Authority, which shall be communicated to the Petitioner, who will be at liberty to approach the Court in case of any surviving grievance. It is made clear that it is open to the Competent Authority to decide the representation in accordance with law and that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
