This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioners seeking the following reliefs:

“a) Direct writ in the nature of mandamus to Respondent no 4 to decide the application (5.2.2024 and 21.8.2024) submitted by the Petitioners;

b) Direct Respondent No 4 to grant Petitioners the permission to remove the silt deposits lying at their agriculture fields;

¶14

c) Direct the Respondent no 1, 2 and 3 to provide requisite assistance/documents, as required by Respondent No. 4;”

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners have filed an application on 05.02.2024 before the District Magistrate, North Delhi, for removal of sand/slit deposited in the fields of the Petitioners, which is hampering their agricultural activities.
