The petitioner is the wife of the respondent, their marital ties having run into rough weather. The respondent / husband has filed a case for divorce (HMA 1161/2017) which is pending in the court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, South-East district at Saket Courts Complex, New Delhi. The petitioner is presently the ordinary resident of Lawrence Road area of Delhi which falls within the territorial jurisdiction of the Family Court for North-West at Rohini Courts Complex. The respondent / husband who has initiated the said divorce case was living in the area Kalkaji, New Delhi when the case was filed though it has been explained by the counsel at the hearing that he has shifted residence elsewhere.
