- This is an appeal directed against a judgment dated 28th April 2016 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV (Central), Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi in SC No.97/2014 arising out of FIR No.55/2014 registered at Police Station (PS) Gulabi Bagh convicting the Appellant for the offence under Section 302 IPC. The appeal also challenges the subsequent order on sentence dated 23rd May 2016 whereby the Appellant was sentenced to imprisonment for life along with Rs.5,000/- fine and in default of payment of fine, to undergo simple imprisonment for two months.
