After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petitions at this stage, with liberty to file a fresh petition in accordance with law. It is further prayed that the period during which the present petitions remained pending before this Court, a considerable span of time having elapsed, may be directed to be taken into consideration while filing and adjudicating the fresh petition.
