Since identical issues are involved in the above-mentioned writ petitions, they are being heard and decided by this common order.

By this batch of writ petitions, the petitioners, who are working as Assistant Teachers/Lecturers on deputation at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Bilaspur (C.G.), have challenged the impugned transfer order dated 10.07.2026

(Annexure P/1), whereby they have been transferred from IASE, Bilaspur to their respective places of posting.

Learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been working on deputation at IASE, Bilaspur since the year 2017. He submits that the impugned transfer order has been issued immediately after a complaint was made against the petitioners, and all the five petitioners herein have been transferred by a common order without any preliminary enquiry, disciplinary proceedings or opportunity of hearing. Learned Senior counsel would contend that the transfer, though shown to have been made on administrative exigency, is in fact punitive in nature and has been passed solely on the basis of a false and unverified complaint. He further submits that some of the petitioners are at the verge of superannuation, some are suffering from medical ailments. He also submits that the petitioners have already submitted representations seeking reconsideration of the impugned transfer order, which are still pending consideration. Accordingly, it is prayed that the impugned transfer order be quashed.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that insofar as the grievance of the petitioners regarding their transfer as well as the complaint made against them is concerned, the State Government has constituted a Transfer Grievance Redressal Committee for considering such grievances. He further submits that if the petitioners approach the said Committee by filing a fresh representation, the same shall be considered and decided in

accordance with law and the applicable Transfer Policy.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

Considering the prima facie grievance raised by the petitioners regarding the impugned transfer order, and taking into account the submission made by learned State counsel, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to submit a fresh representation before the Transfer Grievance Redressal Committee constituted by the State Government within a period of 10 days . In the event of filing of such representation, the Committee shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law and the applicable Transfer Policy, preferably within a period of 20 days from the date of submission of the representation.

With the aforesaid direction, all these Writ Petitions stand disposed of .
