1. Following reliefs have been prayed in this petition:-

“10.1 That this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to Direct the respondent no 3 to issue permanent social status certificate to the petitioner.

10.2 That any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper may also be granted in favor of the petitioner safeguarding her interest.”

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the application of the petitioner for issuance of permanent social status certificate has been rejected only on the ground that the relevant documents were not submitted within the stipulated period of 15 days. It is submitted that the petitioner has now collected all the relevant documents and is ready and willing to place the same before the competent authority.

Learned State counsel, appearing for the respondents/State, submits that if the petitioner submits a fresh application along with all the requisite documents before the competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application before respondent No.3, namely, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Chawni Bhilai, District Durg, along with each and every relevant document required for

consideration of his claim for issuance of permanent social status certificate.

On receipt of such application along with complete documents, respondent No.3 shall consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the application.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim, and the competent authority shall take an independent decision in accordance with the applicable rules and law.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of .
