The petitioner has preferred this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following relief(s):-

“10.1 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Regional Transport Authority to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 19.03.2026 (Annexure P/1) in accordance with the provisions of Motor Vehicle Act.

10.2 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass order as per order passed in WP(C) No. 1341/2026 dated 27.03.2026 (Annexure P/2).

10.3 Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deems fit and proper looking to the facts and circumstances of the case may also be awarded to the petitioner including the cost and expenses of this petition.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed application (Annexure-P/1) for grant of permanent inter-state stage carriage permit on 19.03.2026 in the office of Respondent No.2, but the same has not been decided yet. He further submits that as provided under Section 74 of the Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994, such application ought to have decided within 60 days. Hence, it is prayed that respondent No.2 may be directed to decide the aforesaid application expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the State has no objection if the prayer of the petitioner is allowed.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner, this petition is disposed of at this stage, directing respondent No.2 to consider and decide the application dated 19.03.2026 filed by the petitioner, within the stipulated period in accordance with relevant law/rules.

With aforesaid observation and direction, this petition stands disposed of.
