The applicant has preferred this first bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 as he is in jail since 01.01.2025 in connection with Crime No. 02/2025 registered in Police Station – Lailunga, District Raigarh (CG) for commission of offence punishable under Section 103(1) of BNS,

At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for the applicant seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this bail application. However, he would submit that the applicant is in jail since 01.01.2025 and till date single witness has not been examined. He would contend that the learned trial Court may be directed to conclude the trial at the earliest.

No objection from other side.

Permission granted.

Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the trial Court is directed to make all endevours to conclude the trial pending against the present applicant within a period of 08 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

If the trial is not concluded within said period, the applicant would be at liberty to revive his prayer.
