The present criminal revision has been filed against the order dated 20.06.2025, passed by learned Special Judge (Atrocities), Ambikapur,

District Surguja, in Miscellaneous Criminal Case No. Unregistered/2025 (Richa Paswan v. Vijay Kumar Sharma), whereby the application filed under Section 175(3) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been rejected.

From perusal of the order impugned, it transpires that the applicant/ complainant filed an application under Section 175(3) of BNSS, 2023 with the allegation that, she made a complaint with respect to alleged incident occurred in the month of November, 2023 at Railway Station, Ambikapur inside the train, but made a complaint on 23.02.2025 i.e. after more than one year.

Considering the delayed report made by the complainant and there is no explanation for delayed lodging of the report, the learned Trial Court has rejected the application of the applicant. No other document is annexed in the present criminal revision to substantiate the claim of the complainant and no representation is made on her behalf.

I do not find any infirmity or illegality in the order impugned passed by the learned Trial Court . Accordingly, the present criminal revision is dismissed .
