1. Heard Mr. Rajkamal Singh (through video conferencing) and Mr. Suryapratap Yuddhveer Singh, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Priyank Rathi, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent No.1/ State.

2. The petitioners have filed this petition praying for following relief:-

“1. This honourable Court may please be kind enough in quashing the First Information Report registered in crime No. 528/2024 dated 03.09.2024 at Police Station: Civil Line Korba, District Korba, Chhattisgarh in the larger interest of justice.

2. This honourable Court may please be kind enough in granting any other relief in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice.”

3. From perusal of the relief clause, it transpires that the petitioners have not mentioned the particulars of the FIR with respect to the offences registered against the petitioners. This shows that they have drafted a vague and sketchy prayer in a casual manner, thereby wasting the precious time of the Court.

4. In view of the same, learned counsel for the petitioners pray to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh.

5. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn , with liberty

to file petition afresh, subject to depositing a sum of Rs. 2,000/- as cost by the petitioners in the Registry of this Court and the same shall be transmitted to the Government Home for Mentally Underdeveloped Children, Mana Camp, District- Raipur (C.G.), for wasting the precious time of this Court.

6. Certified copy of the documents annexed in the petition, if any, may be returned back to the counsel for the petitioners after obtaining the photocopy of the same, subject to deposit of the fine amount.
