By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards

the respondents’ authority to comply with the order dated 15/01/2025 and to relieve the petitioner from his present place of posting.

Learned counsel for the State would submit that the petitioner is not being relieved because the transfer order of the Lecturer, who has to join at the present place of posting of the petitioner i.e. Govt. Polytechnic, Sukma, District Sukma (C.G.), has been stayed by the interim order passed by this Court in WPS No. 590/2025. As the Lecturer who has been transferred to Sukma is not joining, the petitioner has not been relieved till date to join Khairagarh.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings as well as the transfer order.

It appears that the petitioner has been transferred from Govt. Polytechnic, Sukma, District Sukma (C.G.), to Govt. Polytechnic, Khairagarh by transfer order dated 15/01/2025. Merely because the Lecturer who has been transferred to Govt. Polytechnic, Sukma, District Sukma (C.G.), is not joining, cannot be a ground, not to relieve the petitioner from Govt. Polytechnic, Sukma, District Sukma (C.G.) to join his services at Govt. Polytechnic, Khairagarh.

Let the petitioner be relieved from Govt. Polytechnic, Sukma within a period of 10 days.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
