Petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs.

“10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct respondent authorities to issue permanent caste of the petitioners for the purpose of new academic session for their future on the basis of temporary caste certificate at the earliest, in the interest of justice.

10.2 Any other relief, which the Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be granted in favour of the petitioners.”

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that the petitioner belongs to Other Backward Class category. Pursuant to application submitted for grant of caste certificate, temporary caste certificate is issued to petitioner on 03.07.2024, however, permanent caste certificate has not been issued till date.

Learned State counsel submits that from the documents enclosed along with writ petition, it is not appearing that petitioner has also submitted a separate application for grant of permanent caste certificate. He submits that if any application is submitted as provided under the Chhattisgarh Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Regulation of Social Status Certification) Act, 2013 and rules framed thereunder, it will be considered in accordance with law.

On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, in view of limited grievance raised by petitioner that the respondents authorities ar not issuing permanent caste certificate and further considering that there is no description of submission of any application for grant of permanent caste certificate nor any application is placed in this regard, I find it appropriate to disposed of this writ petition at this stage,

permitting the petitioner to submit fresh application in accordance with the Act of 2013 and rules framed thereunder and in turn the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the application to be submitted by petitioner in accordance with law keeping in mind the documents to be enclosed by petitioner along with application.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands
