1. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):-

“ 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of Quo Warranto, asking the Respondent no. 3 to show cause as to why he should continue on the post to which he has been illegally appointed despite being ineligible for being thus appointed.

10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash and set aside the order dated 29.08.2017, whereby he has been contractually appointed, as against the rules and notifications governing such appointments.

10.3 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court, may deem fit and proper, in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

At the very outset, Mr. Abhyuday Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that by efflux of time, the present petition has become infructuous, therefore, this petition may be dismissed being rendered infructuous.
