By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to conclude the proceeding of complaint case No.108/2015 and to consider the representation dated 26/08/2024 (Annexure P/7) submitted by the petitioner before the respondent No.3/Secretary, Chhattisgarh Lok Aayog, Raipur.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the complaint case is pending since 2015 and till date, the respondent No.3 is not concluding the said proceeding, hence necessary direction be issued to the respondent No.3 to conclude the proceeding pending before him.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3, on instruction, by referring the communication dated 02/08/2024 (Annexure P/6), submits that necessary information which was sought from the petitioner by the respondent No.3 was not provided to the respondent/Lokayukt till 02/08/2024 which is reflecting from the communication itself, however after issuance of this communication, the petitioner has placed the information which was sought by the Lokayukt and the Lokayukt is proceeding in the matter and proceeding will be concluded expeditiously in accordance with law.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the documents and pleadings made by the petitioner.

From perusal of the communication dated 02/08/2024 (Annexure P/6), it appears that the Lokayukt by reiterating the earlier communication asked the petitioner to provide necessary information by next date of hearing and the petitioner ultimately provided the information vide intimation dated 26/08/2024 (Annexure P/7) as required by the Lokayukt.

Looking to the fact that the petitioner has intimated the necessary information as asked by the Lokayukt, it is expected that the Lokayukt shall conclude the proceeding with regard to the complaint against the petitioner expeditiously as the petitioner has already been retired from his services.

With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
