The petitioner has filed this petition seeking compensation for death of her son, namely, Harishankar Nayak, who died due to electrocution on 14/06/2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that being a illiterate lady, the petitioner has failed to plead in her writ petition regarding her application dated 29/06/2016, which was submitted before the concerned respondent authorities for compensation on account of death of her son, who died due to electrocution. It is the further contention of the petitioner that the application as made by the petitioner on 29/06/2016 has not been decided by the respondents No.3 and 4, till date, and therefore, the concerned respondent authorities may be directed to decide the same within a stipulated period.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents No.3 and 4 has raised no objection with regard to the aforesaid proposal made by the petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, considering further that since the application dated 29/06/2016 made by the petitioner with regard to the amount of compensation accrued on account of the death of her son due to electrocution, is still pending before the respondents No.3 and 4, I am, therefore, inclined to dispose of this petition with a direction to the respondents No.3 and 4 to decide/dispose of the same, within a period of 45 days from today.

With the aforesaid direction, this petition stands disposed of.
