Heard an application for restoration of WPS No. 3618 of 2020.

Learned counsel for the applicants would submit that WPS No. 3618 of 2020 was dismissed for want of prosecution vide Order dated 12.12.2024. He would further submit that on account of personal difficulty, no-one could appear on 12.12.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing; therefore, the petition was dismissed. He would further submit that the applicants/petitioners are interested in pursuing the Writ Petition and on merits the applicants/petitioners have a good case. He would pray to restore WPS No. 3618 of 2020 .

On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State would oppose.

Taking into consideration the prayer by Mr. Bhagat, the instant MCC for restoration of WPS No. 3618 of 2020 is hereby allowed . The WPS No. 3618 of 2020 is restored to its original number.
