1 Heard Mr. Shivendu Pandya, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Ms. Soumya Sharma, learned Panel Lawyer for the State/respondent No. 1.

2 By this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, the Cr.P.C.), the petitioners seek for the following relief(s):

“(I) That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the instant Crime No. 89/2023 pending in the Police Station, Kotwali, Raipur, District Raipur, (C.G.) for kind perusal of this Hon’ble Court.

(II) That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass an order to discharge the present applicants from the offence under Section 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and the FIR (Crime) No. 89/2023 may kindly be quashed against the present applicants in the interest of justice.

(III) Any other relief may also be granted to the applicants which this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

3 At the outset, Mr. Shivendu Pandya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submit that as the petitioners have already been granted bail by this Court and further there are chances of compromise between the petitioners and the respondent No. 2, the petitioners may be permitted to withdraw this petition at this stage, with liberty to take recourse to law, if occasion arises in future.

4 Learned counsel for the respondent No. 1/State has no objection.

5 In view of the above, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to take recourse to law before the appropriate forum, if any cause of action arises in future.
