2 By this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ( for short, the Cr.P.C. ), the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR bearing Crime No.262/2021 registered at Police Station, Ganj, Raipur, dated 03.12.2021 for the offence under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and the consequential criminal proceedings.

3 At the outset, Ms. Sahu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that since the trial has concluded and the petitioner has been acquitted of the charges, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication.

4 Learned counsel appearing for other side do not controvert the above submission.

5 In view of the above, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
