By way of this petition, the petitioner has sought the following relief(s):-

“10.1 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 25-03-2014 relating to recovery from the petitioner in the interest of justice.

10.2 Any other relief, which may be deemed, fit by this Hon’ble Court just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be provided in favour of the petitioner.”

As there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, SPC was issued to the petitioner on 02.07.2024. As per office report, the petitioner is no more as he expired on 27.10.2015 and further there is no application for substitution of legal representatives, therefore, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the petition for want of prosecution.

Consequently, the petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. However, legal representative of the petitioner would be at liberty to revive this petition, if so advised.
