It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that pursuant to the notification dated 04.05.2023, the petitioner appeared in the examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant Teacher and cleared the examination. He also appeared for documents verification, however, he has been orally informed by the respondents that his candidature has been rejected.

Learned counsel appearing for the State on instructions submits that

as the documents of the petitioner were not in order, therefore, on this ground alone, candidature of the petitioner has been rejected.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition may be disposed of directing the respondents No. 1 & 3 to consider and decide the pending representation (Annexure P/7) within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

The said prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the State counsel.

In view of the above submissions made by counsel for both the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondents No. 1 & 3 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P/7) in accordance with relevant rules and law and pass an order within an outer limit of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
