1. Heard Mr. Amrito Das, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Yashwant Singh Thakur, learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the State and Mr. Vivek Shrivastava, learned counsel, appearing for respondent No. 9.
2. The present writ petition styled as ‘Public Interest Litigation’ has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayers:
“10.1 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the present case from the respondent authorities which would demonstrate what steps were taken for its maintenance and upkeep.
10.2 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ directing the respondent authorities to immediately maintain and repair the road between Raipur to Bilaspur of the National Highway 200.
10.3 The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ directing the respondent authorities

to initiate appropriate proceedings against the delinquent officers who failed to discharge their duties in maintaining the said road.
10.4 Any other relief/order/direction, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper may also be awarded in the interest of justice. ”
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the parties that the grievance raised in the present PIL has already been redressed and as such, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication.
4. In view of the above submission, the present petition be consigned to records.
