1. This is the third bail application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.186/2023 registered at Police Station Tarbahar, District Bilaspur (C.G) for the offence under Section 21 & 22 of the Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances Act.

2. The first bail application of the applicant was dismissed as withdrawn with a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial vide order dated 13.07.2023 passed in MCRC No.4944/2023. The second bail application of the applicant was also dismissed as withdrawn with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously vide order dated 12.03.2024 passed in MCRC No.1774/2024.
3. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the applicant does not want to press the bail application. He also prays for a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial.
4. In view of the above submission, the bail application is dismissed as not pressed . However, this Court hopes and trusts that the trial Court shall make earnest endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously in spirit of Section 309 of the Cr.P.C.
