a Nokia mobile phone bearing SIM No.9098172906 in a working condition and another mobile set were recovered from the house of the deceased. Subsequently, during investigation, on 25.9.2016 a motorcycle of the appellant was recovered from the vehicle stand at Akaltara Railway Station with entry register and token vide Exhibits P-19, P-21 & P-37 respectively. Clothes of the appellant, stained with blood like spots, were seized vide Exhibit P-29. Similarly, at the instance of the appellant, a vehicle parking receipt (Exhibit P-20) and a railway ticket dated 8.9.2016 for journey from Akaltara to Nagpur vide Exhibit P-38A and a railway ticket dated 23.9.2016 for return journey from Nagpur to Janjgir were seized from him vide Exhibit P-39A. Thereafter, on 25.9.2016, arrest of the appellant was made vide Exhibit P-43. On 27.9.2016, statement of PW-19 Sadanand Sahu, the sole eye-witness, was recorded by the police.
