Considering the nature of dispute that the petitioner seems to raise in the present writ petition, this Court is of the opinion that it is not a dispute which could be decided exercising the writ jurisdiction of this Court or by way of a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

The petitioner from the pleadings as it stands seems that he had approached the permanent Lok Adalat, District Bilaspur vide case No. 32/2022, which was decided on 28.07.2022 and where the permanent Lok Adalat has not found any liability upon the insurance company, considering the discharging of a liability as it stood in terms of the policy

and which has been duly honoured by the LIC.

The said order has not been challenged any further. Moreover, the petitioner had taken the policy 11 years ago on an annual premium of Rs.36,030/- with wide open eyes in respect of the benefits that are attached to the said scheme under which the policy was taken. The benefits attached to the scheme has been duly paid to the petitioner.

In view of the same this Court does not find any strong case made out by the petitioner calling for an interference with the policy under challenge in the present writ petition. The writ petition thus being devoid of merits deserves to be and is accordingly dismissed.
