1 ) By way of filing instant writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the impugned order dated 21.11.2022 passed by respondent No. 2, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Patwari Halka No. 34, Kududand, Tahsil and District Bilaspur (C.G) to Tahsil Takhatpur, District Bilaspur wherein the name of the petitioner appears at Serial No. 01.

2 ) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has liability to take care of his old aged mother, aged about 79 years, as she is totally dependent upon him; and the petitioner has suffered various injuries in an accident occurred on 18.11.2022 and, therefore, he is required to take regular treatment, due to which, he is having personal difficulty to perform the duties, in support thereof he has filed his Medical Report (Annexure P-3). He

Page 2 of 2 submits that the respondent authorities has transferred the petitioner against the transfer policy of the State Government dated 12.08.2022, therefore, the impugned transfer order dated 21.11.2022 may be set aside.

3 ) I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the impugned transfer order.

4 ) In view of the aforesaid submissions made by counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to make representation before respondent No. 2 – Collector for redressal of his grievances and in turn the Collector, Bilaspur shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

5 ) With the aforesaid observation/direction, the instant petition stands finally disposed of.
