lakhs demanded by the Branch Manager which was paid to the Branch Manager. However, subsequent to the payment of gratification of Rs.5 lakhs, further compliance was asked by the Branch manager and eventually the loan was not sanctioned. He would submit that the audio recording of conversation made with the Branch Manager is also with the petitioners. Therefore, the police was asked to lodge the FIR for cheating under the provisions of Cr.P.C.
