| The matter pertains to the purchase of paddy by way of interim direction by this Court. The petitioners have already sold the paddy for the current paddy purchase season i.e. for the year 2021-22. The payment of those purchase have till date not been released to the petitioner. |

| Counsel appearing for the respondents raised certain objections in respect of entire payment being made to the petitioner/s. Given the fact, since the substantive relief sought for in the petition for sale of paddy is already over, the writ petition has rendered infructuous. However, as regards the claim of the petitioner for money for the paddy sold in respect of the undisputed land and paddy which has been sold by the petitioner, the same shall be decided in terms of the outcome of WPC 2030/2021 & WPC/5177/2021. |
