1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is prolong

continuation of the petitioner under suspension.

The contention of the petitioner is that he was placed under suspension on account of his getting implicated in a criminal case whereby the petitioner was charged for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 506-B and 323 IPC. According to the petitioner, subsequently, the petitioner stands acquitted in the criminal case vide judgment of acquittal dated 07.09.2020, however, thereafter despite repeated approach made by the petitioner to the department, his suspension has till date not revoked and he has made a detailed representation vide Annexure P/1 to the authorities concerned which also has not been decided.

3. The State counsel, on the other hand, submits that the petitioner has made representation only on 25.09.2020 and the same shall be decided at the earliest.

Given the said submissions by the counsel for the parties, the writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondent No.2 & 3 to pass an appropriate order in the light of the petitioner getting acquitted in the criminal case so far as suspension is concerned. Let a decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No.2&3 so far as order passed by this court is concerned.
