1. The present MCC has been filed by Applicants/Respondents seeking for extension of time for compliance of Order dated 19.1.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.239/2021.

Learned Counsel for Applicants/Respondents submits that the State Authorities in order to comply with the directives given by this Court have already constituted a Committee which is already in the process of redressing the grievances of Non-applicants/Petitioners, however, because of the lockdown situation and also because of the Budget Session of the Legislative Assembly, necessary decision could not be taken within the stipulated period and therefore they are praying for further time to comply with the Order passed by this Court.

Given the entire facts and circumstances of the case, particularly considering the reasons assigned by Applicants/Respondents, this Court is of the opinion that the State Authorities should be granted a further time and accordingly they are granted a further 45 days' time for compliance of the Order dated 19.1.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.239/2021. Let appropriate decision be taken by the Committee within a further period of 45 days starting from today.

4. Let a copy of this Order be also made a part of the record of the original petition i.e. W.P.(S) No.239/2021.

5. MCC stands allowed and is disposed of accordingly.
