(2) It is the case of the plaintiffs that their father late Shri Haknuddeen by registered sale deed dated 31.03.1968 purchased part of Khasra No. 240, area 5 acres of the land with due permission of the Collector, Durg and came into possession of the suit land and they were continuing in possession of that land for the last 32 years. It is further case of the plaintiffs that in the village Lohara, settlement proceedings were held in the year 1966 - 67 and in that settlement, Khasra Nos. 87, 88, 89, 228, 229, 230,231,232 {238,239} and 240 were jointly given new Khasra No. 219 and old Khasra No. 240, total area 15.17 acres was divided in three parts giving new Khasra Nos. 219/2, 219/3 and 219/11 and their total area was 15.17 acres and, this old Khasra No. 240 is new numbered as 219/11 and in which the plaintiffs are in possession for the last 32 years, which the defendant No. 1 claimed to be part of the land which their father purchased vide registered sale deed dated 21.04.1988 vide Ex.
