(Passed on this 13 th July, 2019)
1 . As per the settlement arrived at between the Appellants and Insurance Company, Respondent No.3/The Oriental Insurance Company Limited has hereby agreed to deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lacs only) over and above the compensation awarded by the learned Claims Tribunal within a period of 2 months from today. The said amount of compensation shall not carry any interest, if paid within the said period else it shall carry interest at the rate as observed by the Claims Tribunal.
2 . It is directed further that the said amount be paid to the Appellants without making any condition like fixed deposit and the said amount shall
be paid to the Appellants through cheque.
3 . Parties are directed to bear their own costs.
