This writ petition has been preferred for a direction to the respondents to pass necessary orders on the application for renewal of quarry lease of the petitioners.

Petitioners are holding quarry lease which have or likely to expire in near future. In accordance with the terms of lease they have preferred an application for renewal, which is pending consideration before the respondents No.2 & 3, however, in view of the executive instructions issued by the State Government on 26-9-2015 (Annexure - P/7) the renewal application is not decided.

Considering the entire facts situation of the case, for the present the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondents No.2 & 3 shall consider and decide the petitioners' application for renewal of quarry lease, in accordance with law and on its own merits, at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
