The appellant would submit that the appellant was convicted under Section 395/398 of IPC and was sentenced to undergo R.I. for 7 years and pay a fine of Rs.5000/-, in default of payment of fine to undergo additional R.I. for 1 year.
Learned counsel for the appellant would submit that the appellant was never released on bail during trial or during pendency of this appeal, therefore, since he has already undergone the entire sentence, the appeal has been rendered infructuous.
In view of the above submission made by learned counsel for the appellant, the criminal appeal is dismissed as having rendered infructuous.
