Petitioner herein is werking as Lecturer in the Department of School Education and is posted in Govt. Higher Secondary School, Champa, District Janjgir—Champa. Grievance otjthe petitioner is that while considering the matter of promotion from the post of Lecturer to the post of Principal, the Director, Public Instructions Chhattisgarh hasprepared a list of eligible candidates and has invited them for counseling, however, persons junior to the petitioner have been ‘of short listed ignoring the seniority position the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the: petitioner‘woul‘d submit that petitioner has moved representation, however, the grievances have not been looked into and if the promotion order is issued without considering his grievances and ultimately it is found to he a lawful grievance, .‘the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss.
