by the Tribunal towards other conventional heads such as funeral expenses and Ioss of consortium is also on the Iower side and needs to be enhanced suitably. This Court feels it proper to award Rs. 10,000/— towards loss of estate, Rs. 10,000l- towards funeral expenses and Rs. 10,000/— towards loss of consortium. Thus the claimants in this case are entitled to a total compensation of Rs. 2,24,880/— in stead of Rs. 81,500/—. In other words, the claimants would be entitled for an additional compensation of Rs. 1,43,380/— and this amount would carry the interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of application till realization. 14. In M.A. No. 1776/2000 the deceased is survived by two dependants i.e. father and brother and thus after deducting 50% towards personaland living expenses, the loss of dependency comes to Rs.815/— per month. As the deceased is said to have been working for 10 months in a year, the annual loss of dependency comes to Rs. 8,150/—. After applying the multiplier of 16, the total loss of dependency is determinable at Rs.1 ,30,400/—. Apart from that, this Court feels it proper to award Rs. 10,000/— towards loss of estate and Rs. 10,000/— towards funeral expenses. Thus the claimants in this case are entitled to a total compensation of Rs. 1,50,400/— in stead of Rs. 71,500/—. in other words, the claimants would be entitled for an additional compensation of Rs. 78,9OOI- and this amount would carry. the interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of application till realization.
