In this writ petition the peiiSioner has atiacked the aotion of the respondents-auihorities in not conduciino reguiar DeDartmental Promotiori Commiitee meeting for promotion to the posts of Joint Reaisirar, Oeputv Reaistrar and Assistant Registrar in the Department of Co-operaiives, Govt. of Chhattisaarh.

Respondents No. 1 & 2 have filed iheir repiy and learned Pane! Lawyer for the State submits that process for convenina meenna of DPC has aireadv beaun, iherefore the instant petjtion has become infruofuous.

Contradicting the siatement learned counse! for t'ne Detitioner wouid submit that though effort has been made for convenina meeting of DPC but these sieps are iust an eve wash $o file reDlv hefore this Court and in fact nothina is happening in the meetings.

In view of ihe stand iaken by the petitioner as weii as ihe contents of the return it is directed that the resoondents shail make all Dossibie endeavour to conciude the proceedings of the DPC as eariy as possibte and preferably within a period of six months from the date of suppiy of certmed copy of this order before the resoondents.
